Sidewalk Sales

Sidewalk Sale Saturday 8/19

Take a break from back-to-school preparations and enjoy a leisure visit to our August Sidewalk Sale, Saturday August 19th, 10:00am-5:30pm.

There will be tables of bargains outside and also sales in many booths inside. We also have some new vendors and we welcome them for their first sidewalk sale experience with us.

Please plan to help with our Food Drive for Matthews Help Center. Bring in a donation and leave your name and phone number to be eligible for a gift to be drawn at the end of the month. Donate as often as you like.

Sidewalk Sale Saturday, March 18th

Spring is clothing our world in beautiful colors and even though we have just had a gorgeous snow, we are ready to clean out, spruce up and get ready for exciting months ahead!  We are making room for spring decor, Easter items, beach decor and everything else that lets us know summer is on the way!  The most asked question since the Christmas holidays has been, “WHEN IS THE FIRST SIDEWALK SALE?”  Surprise!  Make plans to be with us this Saturday, March 18th 10:00am-5:30pm.

Also some vendors inside the shop will be having markdowns and percentages off for that day.  We are happy to have some new vendors and you will also be pleased to find vendors you have enjoyed shopping with over the years.  Let’s kick off March with a great way to celebrate Spring and a wonderful beginning of our very enjoyable sidewalk sales for 2017!

Thank you for supporting small businesses and look for our ad in the Matthews-Mint Hill Weekly Paper.

Our Last Sidewalk Sale for the Year

It’s October and there are changes in nature all around us as we can feel autumn in the air and view leaves beginning to dress the earth with beautiful colors! There is also change for our routine at the shop as we are preparing for our LAST SIDEWALK SALE OF 2016. You don’t want to miss this one as vendors make room for holiday merchandise. This Saturday, October 15th from 10:00-5:30 is your final chance until spring. Sales will also be going on by some vendors inside.

There will also be cookies and other easy to eat snacks to munch on while you shop. Come early and plan to enjoy every booth of interesting items, old and new.

Thank for supporting our sales all year and be looking for other upcoming events soon!

As always we appreciate your shopping at SMALL BUSINESSES.

October 1st Sidewalk Sale

Everyone is invited to help us celebrate Village Emporium’s 18th birthday! We are going to make it a month long happening and we start with an extra sidewalk sale this Saturday October 1st 10:00am-5:30pm. Plan to enjoy light snacks while you shop inside where there will be markdowns and booths with percentages off of regular priced items. Outside you will find a variety of merchandise at low prices. Take time to look for interesting treasures on the numerous tables stretching across our storefront.

With a $25.00 purchase, register for a $25.00 GIFT CERTIFICATE from our neighbor, HARRIS TEETER. You will be called on Sunday if you are the lucky winner.

Mark your calendar for our LAST SIDEWALK SALE OF THE YEAR on October 15th. Help us make these two sales successful as we make room for more Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas merchandise!

2016 has been a very fast-paced year and we only have these last three months left; therefore, help us make October, November and December good ones for our vendors and for SMALL BUSINESSES in this area. We continue to appreciate your loyal support. Our workers and vendors will miss the sidewalk sales and it is always a time of bitter-sweetness when we put those tables away in October. Let’s come together and really enjoy these two and create many happy memories that will make us long for an email announcing the awaited first sale in the early spring!! See you on the sidewalk!!

Each one of you is important to Village Emporium and has helped us be able to be celebrating 18 years in business!

Thank you,

Dianne
